1. Have you lost a grandparent or someone close to you? What are some of the things that you and others remember about that person?
2. A eulogy is a piece of writing that praises someone highly, usually at a funeral or retirement. Think of someone older than you that you really respect. If you were to write a eulogy of that person, what characteristics would you include? List that person and their characteristics.
3. Ask yourself...If you were to leave Collegiate next year due to a move or a new school, what would your legacy be? How would classmates and teachers remember you? What words would they use to describe you? Think beyond your closest friends to those that interact with you occasionally. What do you think they would say? List your ideas.
