There are many moments in which Courage can be displayed. Sometimes, it is taking a risk to try something new; sometimes it is standing up for someone else, even against more "powerful" or "popular" people; and, there are many other examples...

1. Standing up for someone that is different. Meeting someone new (Newcomer field day for example).

A good example of courage for a middle schooler is the story of Marcus Luttrell and him surviving throughout a tough time in no mans land. It is hard to stand up for someone, when no one else is. A good example of courage I would like to think of is the story of Chris Kyle.

Some courage could be if you are coming from 4th grade you have to have courage to talk to other people.
