How to Talk and Listen (in an Interview and in Life)

1.  Don't Multi-Task
2.  Don't "Pontificate"--or Talking AT someone (give a lecture, without time for response and listening).  Assume you have something to learn
3.  Use Open-Ended Questions (who, what, when, where, why, and how)
4. Go with the Flow (let go of random thoughts or questions)
5.  If you don't know, say "I don't know"
6.  Don't Equate your experience with Theirs
7.  Try not to repeat yourself
8.  Stay out of the "Weeds" (details that don't really matter)
9.  LISTEN
10. Be Brief
