1.  Write a short description of your time at the nursing home, and what you thought of it.  How might it feel to a resident to live there, and not have many visitors?

2. Can you think of something our class could do in between our visits, to let them know they are valued?

3.  Take a look at the poem by John Donne, "No Man is an Island".  Read it through out loud (as a class) and then by yourself, looking at the notes on the worksheet.  Do you think it is true? How might the experience of Hurricane Harvey or 9/11 support your view?
