1. When you are selfless you could start up a conversation with someone you don't usually hang out with and become friends. The second way to show selflessness is show that you care for them and that you want to get to know them better.

ReplyDelete1. In basketball, sometimes people don't pass you the ball because you might lose it, or you won't make the basket. You can pass the ball to that person, so they actually feel like they are helping and playing. Another example is if you are with a group of people and one person is feeling left out, because your telling inside jokes with your other friends, you can talk to them and maybe even explain the story to them, and make new memories with them.

3. Kids felt embarrassed, and like it was their fault they were homeless. Many people live in their car, and it's not safe for people to do that. Sometimes they offer a place for people to stay, but their families are most likely split up. Some homeless people have a job, but they don't make enough money to pay for a house on top of the necessities they need so they stay in a motel.
4. I think it means that sometimes you have food, and sometimes you don't, but you never know for sure. I think this happens because you don't have enough money, or if your not in a good place.
