1. What do you remember about Mr. Hawley's talk concerning Courage and the military, that either inspired you or made you think?
2. Consider the person who read about on the "Avenue of the Righteous." What thought process did they have to go through in order to choose to risk their life for the sake of the Jews they wanted to help?
3. In what way do you have to "Risk something" as you show courage in the face of fear, or on behalf of someone else you choose to defend?
4. Mr. Hawley mentioned one way you could show Courage in the middle school. What was that and how could you do that? Give a specific example.
5. We are starting our unit on Selflessness. When have you seen someone act selfless? This could be at home, at school, or anywhere!
