If you find your quote listed on the blog, you get to "claim" it---that is, identify it as yours. Obviously, if it meant something to you when you chose it, you would remember that it is yours! You have earned yourself a piece of candy! But, before you choose it, you have to tell the class which quote is yours, why you chose it, and why you think it is true...

Mean what you say, say what you mean...but don't say it mean
Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning...
Trust your own instinct. Your mistakes might as well be your own instead of someone else's
If the sky is the limit, why are there footsteps on the moon?
Forget what hurt you, but never forget what it taught you.
Opportunities are never lost. The other fellow takes those you miss.
Men willingly believe what they wish
Yesterday is ashes, tomorrow wood. Only today does the fire burn brightly.
A man can fail many times, but he isn't a failure until he begins to blame somebody else.
Volunteers don't get paid; not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless.
Today you are you and that is truer than true and there no one alive that is youer than you!
